Peaks for Pets helps support an important cause – a no-kill shelter that each year cares for more than 400 abused and abandoned cats and dogs in Essex, NY, home of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Park. The North Country SPCA ensures that each animal gets a second chance – and sadly, sometimes a first chance – at a loving home.

1. Register your hike and select a peak, a date and a fundraising goal;

2. Ask your family, friends and coworkers to pledge their support using a credit card or PayPal. We even provide a sample letter you can use;

3. Enjoy your hike!
